If I choose the "including housing" option, where will I get to stay?
All participants who pay for housing will be housed on Friday and Saturday nights at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale (155 Temple Street, New Haven, CT). Located in downtown New Haven, just seconds away from the heart of campus (and the hub of all KASCON 25 activities!), the Omni is a four-star hotel with an abundance of modern amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool, and high-speed internet access. All 306 guest rooms in the Omni are well-furnished to ensure a comfortable stay while you are in New Haven. KASCON 25 attendees will be housed in rooms of 4 people (two double beds), and we will do our best to honor any room requests (remember, the earlier you book, the better).

What is the vision of KASCON 25?
Even after twenty-five years of KASCON, Korean American students continue to congregate in order to acknowledge the leaders of our time and to discuss the future direction of our community. We want participants to know that they are all relevant and active members of the community. Any and all interests, passions, and dreams provide the Korean American community with the breadth and drive that allow for it to truly grow. Each year, students leave KASCON inspired by the stories of Korean American leaders who have followed their passions. It is, however, important for students to understand that successes of individuals are not what gives a community strength. It is, rather, the cooperation of innovative, interesting and dedicated members who use their strengths to create momentum for progress. Students must be able to see their endeavors as part of the greater movement dedicated to tending to the community’s needs. To grow as a community is powerful, because the greatest thing about a collective movement is that it benefits all members. My Moment, Our Movement.

What is KASCON?
The Korean American Students Conference (KASCON) is the largest and oldest student-run ethnic-specific conference. Held annually across different schools and regions, KASCON aims to inspire Korean American students to become leaders of their community by showcasing prominent Korean American figures in a variety of different fields and encouraging discussion and reflection on issues pertinent to our community. Since the first KASCON in 1987 at Princeton University, KASCON has touched the lives of thousands of Korean Americans. This year, KASCON is hosted at Yale University and is expected to bring in over 600 attendees.
